The new Minnehof apartment complex in Antwerp has been given a giant's touch.

A pearl in Antwerp
The Minnehof in Broederminstraat in Antwerp is a new apartment complex with no fewer than 33 homes. Although the building is brand new, a number of old, unfinished exterior walls really needed attention.
We solved this with a mural that not only makes the surface look like new, but also creates an interesting atmosphere and pleasant experience.
Our artist Toon van Ishoven came up with a great design for the mural. His design is based on two hands, around which green foliage winds, gracefully like a jewel. The plant consists of various flora elements from the artist's mind and therefore does not yet have a Latin name. The discovery of this new plant species also brings with it other golden pearls, a nice reference to the use of gold-coloured elements that recur throughout the building.
The soft hands are a symbol of connection and harmony, as the architecture here flows pleasantly into the green spaces of the Minnehof. They also provide the human touch that is further enhanced here by the residents.
