Together with Waregem municipality, local and professional artists we set to work to provide the monotonous and dull electricity boxes with a handsome layer of art.
With this initiative, the city is paying special attention to DIVERSITY. The artists were given the opportunity to give their own interpretation of the theme and the results have all become gems.
The Waregem creatives are Sylvie Algoet, Ayke Cottenie, Els Ghyselinck, Marjolijn Keersebilck, Marc Kempinck, Lut Lambrecht, Josse Mahieu, Warre Soete, Thomas Vanhoutte and Luc Vershuere.
A total of twenty artful cabinets are scattered throughout Waregem and its boroughs.
