Born in the 80's on a military base in Germany, Mr. X lived his first years through the looking glass of a black & white television screen. He would only discover colour after a drastic career change. Losing his job in the bank sector set the clock straight. As a self-taught artist, he constantly explores new ways to create and new ways to recycle all that surrounds him, giving it the life and colour that it deserves. In the very start of his art career, urban influences pointed him to use spray cans as a main ingredient...
These days, that spray can has become a medium, while nature took over as the main subject. Animals and plants are used as the real asset of his work, and at the same time this earth we all live on.
The real meaning of his work is better explained in his own words:
“If my birds look mad at you: don’t take it personal. Take it as a thought that is hanging over your head, in this strange house of cards that we call the food chain.”
