Meet Lorenzo Morini (aka @shnorro) a mysterious photographer with a beautiful mustache. As our inhouse-photographer he supports us during our projects, while inspiring us with his motivation, creativity and hard work! His style can be described in a mix of documentary and experimental shooting, looking for a way to amplify the moments and capture them on film.
In his new photo-campaign #BBOYISM, Lorenzo is searching for the perfect composition by experimenting with b-boys.
B-boys constantly move their bodies in the strangest way possible to show off their tricks and skills, allowing Lorenzo to play with composition on demand. Freezing a frame of these movements captures a static image of something that is usually so alive and vibrant, bringing out a new way of looking at the whole act of breakdancing.
His practice in being a b-boy definitely gives him the needed knowledge to predict movements to perfectly capture and amplify the beauty of breakdance. By playing with light and composition Lorenzo strives to create a perfect shot that really shows what this culture is about: expression!
