TIZARTE STREET ART PARCOURS 2019
We had many things on our hands. Or rather, many things were used to make a hand!
In a theme called TRASH ART, FeoFlip built a few installations from literally everything we could find on the street, and in the river bedding. You'd be surprised how much plastic there really is. Check the photos below! Put some wood together in a strong structure, attach random crap you find, paint, et voila!
We found various instruments on the street, such as this partially working piano. With some magic of our talented Heziz and the creativity of FeoFlip, this baby was up and running in no time. With various donations from around the country this master piece was created.
This one is titled: OrchesTrash Also, smaller musical trash art was created. The Saxoflow and a boat that is actually a guitar. Especially the last piece is one of FeoFlip's favorites.
To top it off, we joined hands with Piazza - our partner organisation. With young creatives ages 14 to 29 we built a giant dungbeetle from trash during a master class street art, and even made a stop motion animation movie, solely with little pieces of plastic during the master class animation and AR
(thanks for the photos Nictures!) Furthermore we hired the famous local artist Larsen Bervoets for a double mural made with Airlite - an air-purifying paint. You can find these at Kattendijkdok Oostkaai nr 22.
This edition of Tizarte was a different approach where installations, trash art and new partnerships were the central topics. Without the help and experienced team of Piazza, our wonderful host Stormkop, and the help of many other hands we couldn't have made this work.
So, bug thanks (pun intended) to all of you, and also the people of Zanzibar, Part of Antwerp, Port of Antwerp!
